Lunch Assistant

This page will assist you in choosing a place to have lunch. Several choices are listed and there are several blank entries for you to manually add additional restaurants. A particular choice can be disabled by unchecking the box before the restaurant name. Each restaurant can be rated from 1 (low) to 3 (high). The higher the rating, the greater the probability that the restaurant will be chosen. When you have set up the form to account for all of the restaurants you are considering for lunch, simply click on the "do lunch" button, and the Lunch Assistant will choose a restaurant for you!

You can save or restore the state of the Lunch Assistant by using cookies. To restore the last session of the Lunch Assistant, use the "restore" button. To save the current state of the Lunch Assistant, use the "save" button. The "clear" button will remove the cookie from your system. The cookie contains the names of all the restaurants, their checked states and the ratings. You can use the cookies to rename any of the "permanent" restaurants if you wish.
